Sea to Sky

24 Hours in Whistler
Feeling the pull of powder and the allure of aprรจs, my honey and I took to the road in our classic Oldsmobile (pure Americana!) and headed up the Sea to Sky to Whistler.

An hour-and-a-half of zipping along the coast and eagle spotting later, we arrived in the Village and made a bee-line for the base of Blackcomb for some Hot Toddy's and people watching in the sunshine. Then it was off to the Four Seasons to check in and get dolled up for our night on the town -- cocktails and dinner at the Bearfoot Bistro followed by stargazing, chocolate fondue and dancing fireside at the Fairmont's Mallard Lounge.

The next morning, we started our day at the spa with a shvitz in the eucalyptus steam room and a soak in the hot tub before heading over to the Racquet Club for Easter Brunch at Wild Wood. After breakfast, we drove up toward Pemberton and hiked to Nairn Falls before heading home.

It was a perfect Whistler weekend!
